Google Play Games sign-in is used only to identify the player for game-related features such as the OmniWord leaderboard. Signing in is not required to play the main game.
When you sign in with Google Play Games, OmniWord may use the following game-related information:

Rewarded advertisements are optional. Players may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement in exchange for an in-game star reward.
